IMSC Retreat 2017 was held on March 23rd, 2017 at USC Gown & Town Ballroom. One hundred participants from academia and industry registered for this year’s retreat.

IMSC Retreat 2016 was held on June 1, 2016, at USC TCC Grand Ballroom. More than 90 people attended the event including experts from industry such as Microsoft, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Oracle, ESRI, Google, IBM, Samsung America, Teradata, Snapchat, x-Spatial, and Tilofy.

IMSC Retreat 2015 was held on April 2, 2015 at Radisson Hotel (across from the USC main campus). More than sixty people attended the event including people from outside such as Microsoft, Chevron, IBM, NGC, Oracle, LA County Government, NII Japan, INRIA France, to name a few. This year the keynote speech delivered by Prof. Michael Franklin, Chair of the Computer Science Division of EECS Department at UC Berkeley.

IMSC Retreat 2014 was held on March 13, 2014 at Davidson Conference Center at USC. Attendee list included researchers and engineers from Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Chevron and so on, and scholars from USC and other universities.

IMSC Retreat 2013 was held on March 7, 2013 at Davidson Conference Center at USC. Attendee list included researchers and engineers from Microsoft, Google, IBM, HP, Samsung, Chevron and so on, and scholars from USC and other universities.

IMSC Retreat 2012 was held on March 8th, 2012.
Throughout the day, IMSC presented the results of its last year efforts as well as providing a forum to build a network between the academia and the industry.
