"Special Effects R & D Topics"
In this talk J.P. Lewis will mention some issues and trends in motion picture special effects, and relate these problems to research projects at IMSC. Topics will include virtual actors, face tracking and computer vision, and software development. J.P. Lewis is a research associate in the Computer Graphics and Immersive Technology Lab in IMSC. He has software R&D credits on films including Matrix Reloaded and Forest Gump.
